Mano Terong as he was fondly called, left a lasting legacy to his fellow Mandauehanons when he set up the Cabahug Medal for Academic Excellence. This year marks the th anniversary of the tradition he started of giving a gold medal to the graduate with Mandaue roots who gets the highest academic grade for the year.
